Get paid to serve your community with the Alabama Department of Corrections. Correctional Officer Trainees (COT) start at $55,000 per year ($26/hour), with the opportunity to earn nearly 30% more within your first two years.
Correctional Security Guards (CSG) are non-contact, unarmed positions with starting pay between $16–$20 per hour.
No Physical Fitness Assessment is required for CSG applicants.
